The highly professional team of Geisel Privathotels handles all aspects relating to cuisine on board. Everything is possible from simple finger food through to award-winning cuisine. Depending on the request and the occasion, your private chef from Geisel Privathotels will be available to you. You can book, for example, Tohru Nakamura, a chef with 2 Michelin Stars, exclusively for your event. Together with his crew from Werneckhof by Geisel, he will serve you European dishes with Japanese accents. Chef de cuisine Thomas Kahl from the renowned wine restaurant Vinothek by Geisel is characterized by his down-to-earth cooking. His dishes are influenced by regional and seasonal products, and reflect a range of European cuisine. The cooking style of chef de cuisine Christof Lobnig from the anna restaurant & bar by Geisel is Euro-Asian. His urbane dishes are frequently based on a sharing concept.
Geisel Privathotels is a family-run hotel group comprising 4 hotels, 3 restaurants and a wine store in Munich. The company is currently managed in the fourth generation by the three brothers Carl, Michael and Stephan Geisel.
The success story of Geisel Privathotels started in 1900 with the management of the Löwenbräu beer tent at the Munich Oktoberfest. If someone had told the founders Anna and Karl Geisel back then that they had therefore laid the foundations for an exclusive hotel group, they would probably have not believed one word.
With fresh ideas and a great sense for the individual demands of its guests, the family-run business is continually extending its position among first-class hotels and restaurants in Munich. For example, the Excelsior, the family's traditional hotel in Schützenstrasse in Munich, was almost completely renovated last year. During these renovations, the wine restaurant Vinothek by Geisel on the ground floor was also extended.
In November 2017 the opening of BEYOND by Geisel set new standards among hotels in Munich. The completely new concept, which is unique in Germany, will provide guests with a second home in Munich. The exclusive location directly on Marienplatz and the inclusive culinary package, which enables guests to enjoy meals prepared by a private chef 24 hours a day, produce a so-called luxury town residence which is second to none.
But that's not all: the Schwabing Wahrheit opened in September 2018. This so-called hybrid hotel, which as its name suggests, is located in the trendy Munich district of Schwabing, combines an urban town hotel, a trendy business hotel and a relaxed atmosphere. The 80 rooms and suites feature an original design in combination with smart, highly functional fixtures and fittings. The hotel also has a fitness and wellness area with an outdoor jacuzzi.
The crowning glory of the new hotel projects is the redevelopment of the historical Hotel Königshof on the Stachus. The Hotel Königshof is being completely rebuilt over a period of two and a half years, and will reopen for business in 2021.
With regard to your Luxon booking, we will also be pleased, if necessary, to arrange an overnight stay in Munich in one of the hotels belonging to Geisel Privathotels.
